Each year, we see growing numbers of international professionals at the forefront of cleantech innovation and investment attend Cleantech Forum San Francisco to directly engage with the leaders of global cleantech markets. The Cleantech Forum Regional Spotlights provide international entrepreneurs, governments, and economic development agencies the unique opportunity to showcase the innovation in their region, bring new business to the area, and highlight new initiatives.
2013 Regional Spotlights Include:
Canada
The Canada Entrepreneur Spotlight presents to investors five hand-picked high growth companies from North of border. This session will sample from two of North America's most prolific markets for clean technologies -- Vancouver and Toronto -- to highlight examples of the range of active energy and environmental innovation in Canada. Sustainable Development Technology Canada (SDTC) will set the stage to frame presentations from bankable CEOs who will showcase strong management teams with technologies that already have market traction.

Ecuador
Join the delegation of Ecuador for lunch where we will provide presentations with detailed information about electrical projects that create a positive impact on the environment. Our goal is to forge rock-solid bridge financing relationships with companies and government officials. Hear from trade commissioner Dick Vega and Renato Garzon from Pro Ecuador discuss this initiative.
Italy

Join us for a one-hour session where we highlight Italian expertise, know-how, and entrepreneurs across a wide range of clean technology applications. Learn about the latest advances in High Concentration Photovolatic and Thermodynamic Solar Systems, and Green Chemistry from next generation biofuels to bioplastics. Hear from investors who have invested in Italian innovation and are coming out on top!

France
UBIFRANCE, the French Trade Commissions in North America, is proud to present 8 French companies at the Cleantech Forum San Francisco for the first time. The companies will introduce award-winning technologies in hydroelectricity, waste collection, energy management, low-cost sugars and micro-algae. Learn more about the French delegation and the vision each entrepreneur has for their technologies. We are looking for collaboration and investments to grow these technologies worldwide.

Korea
Promoting new small- and medium-sized companies as Korea’s new growth engines is one of the key economic policies of Korea’s new presidential administration inaugurated in February. In accordance with the vision, KOTRA and KEITI are teamed up to promote small and medium size Korean clean energy companies to connect with global business community of the Cleantech Forum San Francisco 2013.

Hong Kong
Comprising Hong Kong Science Park, InnoCentre and Industrial Estates, the Hong Kong Science & Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTPC) is a statutory body dedicated to advancing innovation and technology for Hong Kong.
