Kevin Parker is a member of the Group Executive Committee of Deutsche Bank, as well as being Global Head of Deutsche Asset Management, which manages over €450 billion across a broad range of asset classes globally as of September 2009. He is based in New York.

He joined Deutsche Bank in June of 1997. Before taking up his current role at DeAM, he served as the Global Head of Institutional Equities from 2000 – 2004 and from 1997 – 2000 was responsible for building and developing Deutsche Bank’s Equity Derivatives, Prime Brokerage Services, Equity Trading and Equity Proprietary Trading Businesses. Prior to joining DB, he was a senior managing director at Morgan Stanley.

He identified climate change as a global investment mega-trend in 2005, oversaw the launch of the first US climate change mutual fund, and originated the idea of the real-time carbon counter. DeAM, is one of the world’s largest climate change investors.
