Terry Newendorp, Chairman and CEO of Taylor-DeJongh (TDJ), has over 35 years of experience in international capital investments, global financial structuring, project financing, and asset acquisitions and divestitures. He has negotiated and executed deals in over 75 countries in the energy and infrastructure sectors, with project value aggregating over US$100 billion. In addition to extensive experience structuring commercial bank loans globally, he has complete familiarity with government and multilateral financing institutions, including the export credit agencies of most of the developed world. He has extensive experience structuring transactions for capital markets and private placements of debt and equity. Mr. Newendorp has received numerous awards and recognitions for leadership in international finance. In the past 10 years, his firm has been awarded 13 “Deal of the Year” recognitions, and he was given the “25-Year All-Star Award” from Independent Energy for his achievement in independent power project finance. Mr. Newendorp is on the Board of Directors of Ze-Gen, a renewable energy company, and is a member of ACORE.

Mr. Newendorp recently signed the cooperation agreement between TDJ and Financière de Champlain (FDC), a Paris-based independent asset management company specializing in sustainable development and the first French asset management company to launch a fund specialized in environmental preservation. With this addition to the firm’s breadth of activities, Mr. Newendorp has become very involved in the renewable energy, energy efficiency and environmental sectors globally.

Mr. Newendorp received his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University and his J.D. cum laude from The George Washington University School of Law.
