Mr. Kiss is a Managing Director and Portfolio Manager in the Private Equity Group of J.P. Morgan Asset Management. His responsibilities include evaluating and investing in venture capital, growth equity and leveraged buyouts through private equity partnerships and direct investments. Mr. Kiss serves on the advisory boards of numerous private equity and venture capital partnerships. J.P. Morgan’s Private Equity program is one of the largest programs in the industry with over $20 billion in private equity assets. The Group manages a majority of these assets within a fund of funds program on behalf of more than 100 leading global institutions. Additionally the group oversees private equity assets comprising over 280 partnerships, direct and secondary investments on behalf of several institutional investors.

Prior to joining J.P. Morgan Asset Management, Mr. Kiss worked at J.P. Morgan Capital Corporation where he was responsible for direct private equity investments. Prior to J.P. Morgan Capital, Mr. Kiss spent ten years in investment banking with J.P. Morgan where he advised clients on mergers and acquisitions, capital restructurings and initial public offerings in a variety of industries including the energy and power sectors. Prior to J.P. Morgan, Mr. Kiss was a drilling engineer, reservoir engineer and managing petroleum engineer for Exxon responsible for oil and gas development in the Gulf of Mexico. Mr. Kiss earned his undergraduate degree in engineering from Lehigh University. He is a CFA charterholder and is a member of the CFA Institute.
