China Tour 2017

On March 20-23, 2017, we will take our 5th tour group to China for three days of meetings and network building. This tour provides cleantech CEOs and investors with an excellent taste of the landscape, ecosystem, and operating context in China, as well as the opportunity to expose their companies to multiple China-based investors and partners. Based on feedback from past participants, the days of Monday, March 20th and Friday, March 24th will be left open for those wishing to organize their own meetings or travel in/out.

A good way to get a first taste of what the 2017 version of the tour will be like is to review what we did in 2015 and 2013. You can also review testimonials and feedback from our previous participants here.

What You'll Experience

Centered around two half-day showcase events in 2 cities – Beijing and Shanghai – the “tourists” will present themselves and their companies to China-based investors and corporations who have strong interests in western cleantech technology. Throughout the tour, companies will have multiple opportunities to create valuable connections with some of the key players in China.

In addition to the showcases, we will organize a few exclusive meetings to give the group exposure to all the elements of the ecosystem and insights into how business gets done. In that spirit, on past tours, we have had private workshop-style meetings with players such as: cross-border cleantech VC investors, technology entrepreneurs (Chinese and foreign) with experience of building and running companies in China, and law firms (providing advice on key legal issues, from company incorporation types to IP protection).

Spots are limited. Apply Today!
