Mohler, David
Since 2006, David Mohler has served as vice president and chief technology officer for Duke Energy, one of the largest power companies in the United States, and is responsible for the development and application of technologies in support of Duke Energy’s strategic objectives. He previously served as vice president of strategic planning for Duke Energy. Prior to the merger between Duke Energy and Cinergy, he served in the same role for Cinergy. Mohler has operational experience in both nuclear and fossil power generation, as well as experience in corporate marketing, human resources and business development.
Before joining Cinergy, Mohler was employed by Public Service Electric & Gas (PSE&G). He served on the executive team that developed PSE&G’s first deregulated retail subsidiary. He earned a bachelor of arts degree from Indiana University, a bachelor of science degree from the University of the State of New York, a master of arts degree from Xavier University of Cincinnati, and a master of science degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
