Summit Overview
Cleantech Group (CTG), in collaboration with Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, will be holding an invitation-only Executive Summit in Boston on November 9, 2017 at Babson College.
Blockchain has been a major area of interest for the energy sector over the past couple of years. With growing traction, distributed ledger technology could power the future of energy, transportation and industry. But for all its hype, blockchain is still a nascent technology, and finding financial and strategic backing for energy use cases has not been easy.
In this one-day Executive Summit, we will aim to give utilities, industrials, and investors a better understanding of blockchain technology, dive into the most mature use cases, and introduce them to some of the top innovators in the space. No prior knowledge is needed to attend this Summit – we will catch up on key concepts needed for the discussion early in the day. However, given very limited seats, we will prioritize attendees from utilities, industrials, investors and blockchain start-ups.
Summit Format
Don’t Come to Listen. Come to Engage. This Executive Summit is invitation-only to ensure the highest quality dialogue in an intimate setting. We will pull from the ranks of leading corporates, innovators and investors engaged in the space.
We will start the day with a brief technical introduction, so that all attendees have a clear understanding of basic concepts of blockchain technology. We will then dive into use cases: how to choose them, how to create value, what pitfalls to avoid.
The Summit will have conversation starters, but all attendees will be true participants in interactive group discussions.
